Making a wood and willow planter - New
Izzy will guide you through the stages of making your own rectangular, splayed planter woven with rods of hazel and willow. It is designed to hold a 5 litre pot and stands about 10 inches high. The hazel stiffeners strengthen the sides and provide the feet which keep the planter off the ground. During the weaving you will be encouraged to use your own ideas to embellish the basic design creating a unique piece of craftwork which will be finished off at the top with a substantially woven border.
